Magpies & Peacocks, non-profit design house (501c3), was honored to have been selected to showcase our groundbreaking work in zero-waste, up-cycled fashion and circular design, by presenting two full collections on the world stage at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week, February 2019.
LFW AW19 Collections: Re:ne(w) by René Garza For Magpies & Peacocks, and Undone by Jerri Moore + Clarence Lee For Magpies & Peacocks – Including custom hand painted textiles by artists Nicola Parenté and Robert Hodge, and custom shoes by Alice d’Italia
For the third year in a row our sustainable collections hit the coveted catwalk at London's LARGEST Fashion Week indie runway show Fashion Scout – an event dedicated to showcasing international and revolutionary fashion. All the collections were created right here in our Houston Warehouse made entirely from reclaimed textiles diverted from landfill and donated by the community! As the only Houston design house (and the only non-profit) showing for this world class event, we appreciate your support on our road there.
We were so grateful for the support of Tyson & Tena Faust and the Lundquist and Faust Families, Jim & Jerri Moore and the Moore Family and our sponsors Faust Distbrituting, Alice d’Italia, POP PR and Esthechoc and our London Ambassador Elle L musician and partner for the UN Fashion Alliance for Sustainability – we have needed you every step of the way and are proud to partner with you.
